Any business enterprise is usually encumbered with various risks. Economic development and international contacts of Polish companies induce them to reach for the best models in the world. One of the latest is compliance. It allows to considerably reduce the risk in business activities and strengthens competition and market position. It also makes contacts with other international market players a lot easier.

Compliance activity first appeared in foreign financial institutions, which had noticed and understood the importance of ensuring the compliance of their activities with existing law and minimizing the risk of causing disturbances in that area. Presently the advantages of compliance are appreciated by more and more world's large production and service companies and the sizes of compliance services grow from one-man-posts to great departments with complicated area and assignment structures. Those departments effectively improve positive images of their companies, which, in turn, increases the trust of current and future clients.

The term compliance is defined as and audit and consulting service for monitoring the legal environment of a company, and for advising its board according to the outcome of the monitoring. Others in the term compliance include also prevention, correction activities, support for the monitored company during any legal procedures, building of structures and creating of procedures.

The National Compliance Conference is the first such project, which gives an opportunity to meet the team of specialists from other countries. Discussions with representatives of following organizations: Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics, International Compliance Association, Sarbanes-Oxley Institute, Associaton of Compliance Officers in Ireland and IT Compliance Institute provoked the development of complex set of detailed issues, which will be presented at our conference, as well as created one of the most essentially advanced compliance projects in Poland. In addition to that, there are going to be presented numerous examples of information technology tools, which support the work in compliance area, from the most renowned software suppliers.

Whilst taking part in the conference you will have an opportunity to meet and establish direct relation with the representatives of many world's firms, specialising in the compliance area, exchange views with Polish specialists and implement the best solutions relating to creation and optimisation of compliance departments' activities.

Simultaneous translation of all lectures during the conference is available in English and Polish.
